Maybe that’s why they’re at your shop. They probably posted this exact thing to CaddyFansUnder80.com a few days ago.

“Leather”

Why are you sitting in a Cadillac is the real question...

It has leather trimmed interior. Which is crazy because the aftermarket leather has a greater natural hide content Than the mostly vinyl stuff that goes in the Cadillac.

I didn’t say “QUALITY”, I said “KOALA TEA”! Every new Cadillac comes with a bag of Koala-brand tea!

I would not consider eating whatever animal that may or may not have come from.

The animal that panel came from died at least 65 million years ago. The seating surfaces are probably cattle though. Maybe pig.

I just wanted to know which one. We’re buying in the spring, so info like your post is helpful.

...what am I supposed to see in these macro shots?

Bottom shot has a vinyl trim piece that’s not tucked under like it’s supposed to be.
